As #7 of his “9 Secrets of Personal Success” series, Yanik Silver writes about the power of continual learning, on his blog. This is an excellent and often overlooked point. Often we go about our lives with a poor balance of learning and doing. We feel that first we should learn, and then we should apply that knowledge after we’ve learned.Really though, when you think about it, this doesn’t make much sense. Why not do both at the same time? Nobody ever got anywhere without doing something, so start doing something today; and also spend some time learning. If you spend some time learning and some time doing every day then you will soon find you are working your way to success, and constantly learning how to do it more efficiently. What a win/win situation! What will you learn AND do today? Let’s hear it! Tags In This Post:You must be logged in to post a comment. |
